Constantly counting and measuring calories

Strict calorie counting [9] is another rule followed by anorexics. They log every food they eat. As a rule, these individuals reduce their calorie [10] intake to 400-700 per day. At the same time, many start the so-called “food diaries”. They are published on social networks using hashtags. In some, the disease begins with a harmless rejection of sweets and starchy foods, while others decide to give up meat or become vegan. From the outside, it may seem that everything is happening within the framework of the concept of a healthy diet, so relatives perceive these restrictions as a teenage whim. Soon, however, the diet shrinks to a few “safe”, low-fat foods, and moods begin to depend on the numbers on the scales.
