Begins to get involved in cooking

The passion for cooking and the desire to feed everyone around is one of the main symptoms of anorexia. You can find them suddenly having a desire to watch cooking shows, talk a lot about food, collect recipes, read cookbooks and prepare sumptuous dinners for the family. True, the patient themselves are unlikely to touch the prepared dishes. Food begins to occupy all thoughts, but it is no longer associated with what can be taken internally. Researchers think that the interest in cooking is an attempt by the brain to remind what the body needs to eat. Others believe that anorexic people get indirect joy and pleasure from watching others eat. If you notice that your friend is giving her lunch to her pet, throwing food away, or putting it on someone else’s plates, this is cause for concern.
