Anti-anxiety drug

Certain anti-anxiety drugs can be used to treat your anxiety disorder. They must be prescribed by your healthcare provider. The primary aim of the medications is to improve severe symptoms. Most anti-anxiety drugs contain selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs)
It is important to know that these drugs do not offer a permanent solution to your condition. After six months, your doctor will advise you to reduce your dosage.
Cognitive behavioral therapy and SSRIs can be used together to treat anxiety.
