Stress

The exact cause of migraines isn’t well-understood. Certain factors such as stress are known to trigger the onset of ocular migraine episodes.
Work, moving to a new city, shopping for a baby shower, the death of a relative, and partying nonstop are all activities or events that can cause stress. The American Headache Society estimates [14] that stress is a reported trigger in 4 out of 5 people who have migraines.
The relationship between stress and migraines is not so crystal clear. Some scientists believe that relaxation following high stress levels is more of a migraine trigger than the stress itself. A study [15] in 2014 revealed that people whose stress levels were reduced between days had a significantly higher chance of developing migraines on the days they experienced less stress.
