Conclusion

Parkinson’s disease itself doesn’t cause death. However, symptoms related to Parkinson’s can be fatal. For example, injuries that occur because of a fall or problems associated with dementia can be fatal. For example, some people with Parkinson’s experience difficulty swallowing. This can lead to aspiration pneumonia [6]. This condition is caused when foods, or other foreign objects, are inhaled into the lungs.
Parkinson’s disease can be treated with proper medication. But first it has to be diagnosed properly, your doctor should be able to know what stage of the disease you are at, and administer treatment accordingly. The earlier you are diagnosed, the higher your chances of recovering.
