Some factors tend to increase the possibility of someone getting this illness, it is advised to know these factors to take precautions, and these factors include:
- Age: it should be noted that as one grows older, the possibility of this illness increases, therefore any form of the trigger should be avoided.
- Gender: from research, it has been noticed that men are liable to have this disease compared to females.
- Post-traumatic brain injury: head injuries from sports and work may increase the risk of this disease in a person.
- Some medications: some medications lead to a person having tremors and slow movement but it is not necessarily Parkinson’s disease, when these medications are taken it makes the person prone to having this illness.
