  • Exercise: your workout or physical exercise history determines whether you are at risk of coming down with osteoporosis or not.
  • Access to vitamin D: deficiency due to lack of sun exposure or other factors
  • Drugs or alcohol exposure
  • Smoking history
  • Caffeine: tea, coffee, and soft drinks are rich in caffeine which may affect calcium absorption and contribute to bone loss
