Sitting Spinal Stretch
Typically, the sciatica pain is due to compression of the vertebrae in the spine. Due to this stretch, a space in the spine opens up to relieve the sciatic nerve’s pressure. Here are the steps to follow:
-
Begin by sitting straight in the ground with the legs extended out with the feet flexed upward
-
The right knee needs to be in a bent position. The foot needs to be flat on the ground on the outside of the other knee.
-
Move your left elbow outside of the right knee to assist in gently turning the body to the right.
-
Stay in that position for half a minute, and do that process thrice and switch sides.
