Forward Pigeon Pose
-
Start by kneeling on the floor.
-
Place your right leg forward in front of the entire body. The lower leg needs to be on the ground in a horizontal position to the body. The right foot should also be right in front of the left knee, while the right knee remains on the right.
-
Ensure that the left leg is stretched backward on the floor. Make sure that the top of the foot is on the floor and the toes pointing back.
-
The individual needs to move their body weight from the arms to the leg to support the entire body weight. Remain in a sitting position with hands on either side of the legs.
-
Exhale deeply and lean the upper body forward over the front leg. Let the body weight be supported with the arms.
-
Perform all steps for the other side
