Sallow Skin – What It Is, Causes, Treatments and More

Lack of Water or Proper Nutrients

Taking enough water regularly keeps the skin fresh and hydrated. Lack of water causes the skin to become dehydrated and further leads to sallow skin. Research has also shown that the body needs at least eight glasses of water daily.

The body requires adequate and well-balanced nutrients to function properly. Lack of these nutrients causes the skin to look pale and sallow. There are some specific nutrients that help to keep the skin looking radiant and the absence of them increases the appearance of a pale skin. These nutrients are vitamin B12, vitamin A, vitamin K, vitamin C and vitamin E.
