Liver or Pancreas Issues
The liver, pancreas, and gallbladder play significant roles in aiding digestion. The three organs are all located in the upper-right side of the stomach. In some cases, untreated gallstones may block biliary ducts and cause pain in the liver and pancreas. Liver diseases, like hepatitis [6] can also result in upper stomach pain.
You may experience the following symptoms if you have a liver or pancreas disorder:
- Vomiting
- Yellow eyes or skin
- Very pale or white bowel movements
- Dark urine
- Nausea [7]
