Diverticular Disease

Diverticula are small pouches that occur in the intestines. Inflammation of these pouches can cause severe abdominal pain. The region of the spin depends on where the diverticula is located. Although they are more common in the lower intestines, studies show that they may also occur in the upper stomach.
Diverticulitis may also disrupt bowel function, leading to symptoms like diarrhea and constipation. Probiotics and a high-fiber diet can treat diverticulitis. Contact your doctor if the pain worsens or persists for a long period.
Gallstones
Gallstones are solid deposits of cholesterol or bilirubin that can occur in the gallbladder. They are not always harmful, but they block your biliary duct. You may experience severe pain in the upper part of your stomach if a gallstone blocks your bile duct. You may also experience exhaustion, fatigue, and vomiting. If your gallstones are not treated on time, it may affect the function of your pancreas and liver. You may also experience jaundice, which is the yellowing of the skin and eyes.
