Bloating

Most people have encountered abdominal bloating or “feeling bloated” at a point in time as it is a very common and familiar symptom. [4] There are various explanations why you might feel bloated. With over-the-counter or home remedies, most complications that are urgent and harmless can be easily treated. Very rarely, anything more extreme induces abdominal bloating, leading to a rapid worsening of unpleasant symptoms. An example of such situations mentioned above is pylori gastritis. It should be noted that excessive gas in the intestinal tract doesn’t signify bloating.

Abdominal Pain

The most common symptom of peptic ulcers (from pylori gastritis) is abdominal pain and it typically feels like a dull, gnawing ache. [6] The pain also happens two to three hours after a meal or when the stomach is empty in the middle of the night. For several days or weeks, the pain can come and go. Taking antacid medication helps to ease the nausea. It is not evident if gastritis infection from pylori without ulcers results in abdominal pain.
