Rumination

Rumination refers to the tendency to go over the same thoughts many times. According to experts, PTSD [4], depression [5] and anxiety [6] are both linked to rumination. In most cases, it starts as the inability to fall asleep at night because you can’t stop thinking about a particular problem. If you ever experience this problem, you can start your therapy session by talking about it and letting your therapist walk you through the problem.
