Bicycle Kicks

Bicycle kicks, like calf flexors, also exercise the calf muscles and promote blood circulation in the lower legs. Unlike the previous exercise, bicycle kicks are done while lying down. You can do this in the comfort of your bedroom or living room.

To perform this exercise, follow these steps:

  • Lie flat on your back and raise your legs up. Your legs should make a 90-degree at your knees.
  • Kick your left leg forward while your right leg remains bent at this angle.
  • While bringing your left leg back to its bent posture, kick your right leg out.
  • Repeat steps 2 and 3 as many times as you can as if you’re pedaling a bike.
  • You can speed up a bit, but be gentle.
