Elevate Your Legs

If you have varicose veins, it’s a good idea to suspend your legs above your heart level once in a while. This will help relieve pain [7] in your legs and improve blood flow throughout your body. You can do this on the floor or on your bed before you sleep.

Follow these steps to do this properly:

  • Lie down on your back.
  • Raise your two legs up in the air or rest them against the wall.
  • Maintain this position for a few minutes then bring your legs down.
