Mountain Climber

You can do this exercise from the comfort of your home. The mountain climber [6] exercise makes the heart work harder and is very effective in increasing blood circulation. It is ideal to perform this while wearing a shoe so the “climbing” is easier.

Follow these steps:

  • Get into a plank position on a mat or on the bare floor.
  • Pull your right knee up to your chest.
  • Return your right knee and pull up the left knee.
  • Repeat this process, switching between both legs as if you’re climbing a mountain.
  • You can up your speed to increase the intensity of the exercise.
