Throwing up Blood after Drinking

Gastropathy and Gastritis

Gastritis is a condition that inflames the stomach’s lining. Gastropathy happens when the stomach is damaged rather than inflamed. Alcohol consumption would damage or irritate the lining and increase the risk of gastropathy. People with both conditions would notice bleeding, along with other symptoms like nausea, bloating, loss of appetite, deep pain, burning stomach, or feeling too full or full quicker than usual. Immediate medical attention is needed when you throw up a large amount of blood. Limiting or consuming in moderation is the key to prevent chronic problems in those with gastritis or gastropathy. [4]
