You should visit your doctor if you observe the following things about Ulcerative colitis and your period:

  • You’ve not seen your period in 90 days.
  • You may start having unstable periods.
  • Your experience changes in your flow or it becomes abnormally heavy.
  • You experience symptoms of anaemia.
  • You see your period more regularly than every 21 days.
  • You see your period less frequently than every 35 days.
  • You feel severe pain before or during your period.
  • You menstruate for more than seven days.
