Types of heat rash
Heat rash comes in a variety of forms.
Crystallina Miliaria
The mildest type of heat rash is miliaria crystallina. The epidermis [1], the outermost layer of skin, is impacted.
Your baby’s skin may have a few small, transparent blemishes that resemble blisters. The lumps don’t hurt. Lesions rarely itch, but if scratched, they may become infected.
Consider putting gloves on your baby’s hands if they have a rash to stop them from scratching and creating open wounds.
