Oncotype DX Breast Recurrence Score results
The Oncotype DX Breast Recurrence Score eligibility describes the activity of 21 genes. It gives you a recurrence score from 0 to 100.
For women over age 50:
Recurrence score Interpretation
0–25 Your cancer has a small risk of recurrence. Chemotherapy is usually not advised.
26–100 Your cancer has a high risk of returning. Chemotherapy is recommended.
For women under age 50:
Recurrence score Interpretation
0–15 Your cancer has a low chance of returning. Chemotherapy is usually not recommended.
16–20 Your cancer has a low to medium risk of returning. Chemotherapy is likely not recommended.
21–25 Your cancer has a medium risk of returning. Chemotherapy is likely recommended.
26–100 Your cancer has a high risk of returning. Chemotherapy is likely recommended.
