Dizziness and lightheadedness

It is common to feel woozy when your blood sugar is low. This is usually because your body enters into a phase where it tries to use as little energy as possible [9]. This can prevent your brain from getting enough sugar to meet its energy demands. This consequence is that you might end up feeling lightheaded.
If this happens to you, you should get some stability by sitting or lying down while you take in enough sugar to treat your hypoglycemia. You should feel better in a short time.
Difficulty Concentrating
Hypoglycemia can make it very difficult to concentrate. This is due to its effect on the brain. As the body tries to conserve energy and its limited supply of sugar, brain functions become slightly impaired. This can make it difficult to focus on whatever activity you are engaged in. In most cases, this brain impairment is only temporary and does not result in any permanent damage [10]. It should resolve as soon as the hypoglycemia has been treated.
