Dry skin and damaged hair

It is normal to lose hair now and then while combing or brushing it. This happens every day, but if you’re losing way too much hair than is appropriate, you might be suffering from a deficiency of iron. Research [8] has shown a link between iron deficiency and hair loss.
People who have low levels of iron in their body tend to have hair and skin that are dryer than considered normal. The damaged hair is due to a reduction in the levels of oxygen available to the cells responsible for their growth. Iron deficiency prevents the production of hemoglobin which carries oxygen in the blood.
