Modify the timing

By taking medication at a different time of day, you may occasionally be able to avoid its negative effects. Take the drug at night rather than in the morning, for instance, if it makes you sleepy. If a medication makes you sleepy, take it in the morning or late.

Consume a snack

When taking levodopa plus carbidopa for the first time, the most frequent adverse effects are nausea and vomiting. These symptoms can be alleviated by consuming basic, high-carbohydrate foods like crackers or toast.
