What happens to you during and after the procedure?
You will not feel any pain during an abdominal x-ray. However, you may feel uneasy about the temperature in the examination room or the texture of the X-ray table. The discomfort is worse if you have an injury and you need to stay in a position for a while. The technologist will help you discover what position is best for you and the procedure.
