Scoliosis

Scoliosis is an abnormally curved spine that happens during growth before puberty. The structure joining the spines together (ligament) becomes very loose, and they cannot anchor the vertebrate. Scoliosis can be caused by different diseases such as muscular dystrophy [3] and cerebral palsy [4]; the major cause of scoliosis is not known. Approximately 3% of adolescents have scoliosis. Scoliosis can be mild or severe, and sometimes they cause permanent disability to the victim. The space in the chest cavity is reduced in scoliosis, making the lungs malfunction. About 59% of people diagnosed with Marfan syndrome have scoliosis, but only 32% need medical attention.
