Classroom Treatment Plans for Students with ADHD
There are two major classroom treatment plans that can be used for students diagnosed with ADHD. They include:
- Organizational Training: This form of training teaches students who have been diagnosed with ADHD important qualities like proper time management, materials organization and skills planning. These qualities are important as it helps to increase their level of focus and help them learn better. This training is sometimes carried out by a trained psychologist.
- Behavioral Classroom Management: This classroom management technique motivates the display of positive behaviors and preaches against negative behaviors. They do this by distributing rewards to students who are well behaved. This approach has been proven to be very effective as it helps to improve positive behaviors and makes learning easier.
