Guanfacine

Guanfacine works on sections of the brain to boost attention, and it also reduces blood pressure. It may be given to teenagers and children over the age of 5 if it’s not possible to use methylphenidate or lisdexamfetamine. Guanfacine should not be taken by adults with ADHD. It is usually offered as a tablet once a day, in the morning or evening.

Its side effects are:
