Leukotriene modifiers are oral meds that calm indications for as long as 24 hours. Models include zafirlukast (Accolate), incorporate montelukast (Singulair and zileuton (Zyflo). Long acting Beta antagonist open the airway routes and are taken in mix with a corticosteroid. Models incorporate formoterol (Foradil) and salmeterol (Serevent). Combination Inhalers are a blend of a beta agonist and a corticosteroid.
