Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)
Although UTIs are more common in women, it can also occur to a man. It is an infection caused by an unhealthy bacteria buildup anywhere in the urinary tract.
They are typically classified as “upper tract” or “lower tract” infections by doctors. While the second affects the bladder, prostate, and urethra, the first affects the ureters and kidneys. Depending on the diseased region, your symptoms will change.
Pelvic pain is a common sign of a UTI and is also linked to:
- Painful urination
- Pelvic pressure
- Urge to urinate frequently
- Bloody urine
