Neck Flexion

Flexing your neck muscles helps stretch the back of your neck muscles including the suboccipital muscles. Start with tucking your chin in using 2 fingers of one hand. Place your other hand on the back of your head and apply a little force down as you pull your head towards your chest. Hold the position for 20-30 seconds when you feel a stretch at the back of your neck. Ensure your chin is tucked in as you do the stretch.
Use Headphones or Speaker phones
Studies show that people who constantly hold their phones between their shoulders and ears, or loook down to text are more likely to have a stiff neck or muscle strain. You can wear headphones or use your speakerphone instead.
