5 Common Shoulder Pain Symptoms

Limited Range of Motion

The shoulder can rotate three hundred and sixty degrees, but the joints may become stiff if there’s an internal disorder. Stiffness of the joints would restrict the movement of the arms, and the patient may experience ache when they try to force it. Underuse of the arms may also cause stiff joints. This condition is known as adhesive capsulitis or frozen [5] shoulder, and the symptoms may last up to twenty-four months. Frozen shoulder can only be medically diagnosed and tends to worsen over time if left untreated.
