What are the symptoms of ganglion Cyst?

You may experience the following symptoms when you have ganglion cysts:
- One large cyst or many smaller ones may occur. The large and small cysts are often connected by deeper tissue.
- Swelling that may occur over time or suddenly.
- It may get smaller in size or even go away and come back.
- When the cyst is connected to a tendon, your finger may feel weak.
- Some degree of pain is possible, especially after acute or repetitive trauma, but many aren’t painful.
- Severe pain when you try to initiate movement in the joint.
- A soft bump or mass that may increase or decrease in size but doesn’t change location.
According to research, Women are more susceptible to ganglion cysts than men. Also, over 70 percent of this condition occurs in people between the ages of 20-40. In rare cases, children younger than 10 years may experience ganglion cysts.
