Clean the piercing

It is important to clean your piercing regularly to avoid and treat any type of infection. According to experts, piercings should be cleaned at least twice a day.
You can start with using a saltwater mixture (1/2 tsp sea salt per 1 cup of water) to clean any dessicated healing secretions. Then, use water cleansing and antibacterial soap.
You must wash your hands with antibacterial soap before you start cleaning your piercing. Use a cotton swab and cleaning substance to clean the piercing site. Then, gently dry the site with a clean towel. It is important to follow these procedures gently to avoid any complications.
Experts advise people to avoid using hydrogen peroxide or alcohol because they have the tendency to cause irritation around the piercing site and dessicate the skin
