Endometriosis

Endometrial cells, which mimic the lining of the uterus, proliferate outside the uterus and cause endometriosis [5]. Every month when you receive your period, these cells have the potential to enlarge and bleed, which can lead to pain and other problems.

The most prevalent symptom is pain, which includes:
