Herniated Disc

A herniated disc [3] happens when one or more of the discs that separate your vertebrae compress and protrude into the spinal canal.
These protruding discs frequently press against nerves, resulting in discomfort, weakness, and numbness. Sciatica is frequently caused by a herniated disc as well.
An injury may result in a herniated disc. Because the discs inevitably deteriorate with age, they also grow more frequent. It is probable that you have had low back discomfort recently if you have a herniated disc.
Dysfunction of sacroiliac joints
Another name for sacroiliac joint dysfunction is sacroiliitis [4]. At the point where your spine joins the top of your pelvis, you have two sacroiliac joints: one on each side. This joint is inflamed when sacroiliitis occurs. Either one or both sides may be impacted.
The most prevalent symptom is lower back and buttock pain. Pain is typically exacerbated by:
- putting too much weight on the injured leg
- running
- standing
- climbing stairs
- taking big steps
