Liver Abscess
A liver abscess is a condition that causes pus to build up in the liver. The pus could result from infection with fungi, bacteria, or parasites. This health problem might cause tenderness or pain in the right upper quadrant, along with other symptoms like grey stools, yellow skin, vomiting, nausea, unexplained weight loss, chills, and fever. To treat a liver abscess, your doctor might need to drain the pus. Antibiotics can be effective for those cases caused by a bacterial infection.[4]
