To treat scoliosis, your doctor may either opt for no surgical or surgical methods. The treatment approach always depends on the type of scoliosis, which they experienced, and the severity.
For adolescent idiopathic scoliosis, the treatment is determined by the degree of the spinal curve and the anticipated progression when it was diagnosed. Mild cases may not need any specific treatment. Severe cases may be treated with nonsurgical procedures (braces), or spinal fusion surgery [2].
