Symptoms of Shin Splints

There are different symptoms that indicate you have shin splints, the most common symptom is pain in the lower leg. The pain can range from mild to severe, and your shin bone may feel tender when you touch it. Mild inflammation may also occur.

What do shin splints feel like?

You can be sure you have shin splint if the pain you’re experiencing:

  • Starts off as come and go discomfort with activity and progress to a steady and persistent pain I’m even after you are through with the activity.
  • Is commonly felt on the inner lower part of your leg or front of your shin bone.
  • Is sharp or a full ache
  • Worsens after an activity
