Dizziness and Headache
Dizziness encompasses the following; feeling lightheaded, unbalanced or woozy. It usually affects the sensory organs especially the ears and eyes, which can also induce fainting. Therefore, sensations such as loss of balance, lightheadedness, unsteadiness and feeling like the room is spinning, is a symptom of heat exhaustion.
Headache or head pain, is a throbbing or squeezing in the head that is unrelenting and constant. The pain may be located on a side of the face or the whole head. The pain ranges from mild to extreme. In extreme cases, the pain can be piercing and very intense. Dizziness associated with headaches is a symptom of heat exhaustion and should not be overlooked.
