Bowel and Bladder Problems

Enuresis and encopresis are the loss of bladder and bowel control which causes urine or fecal leakage. This symptom may occur in children and adults alike due to loss of control and feeling in the muscles responsible for urinating or defecating. Failure of the muscles to contract causes the bladder and bowel to retain wastes which eventually leads to leakage. It may also increase the risk of developing urinary tract infections and constipation. [14]
Cerebral palsy is a neurological condition that occurs before or a few moments after birth and is life-long. CP symptoms vary in different persons and may improve with frequent medical attention.
