MRI test is done to give you a detailed cross-sectional picture of the body and can show the extent of any tumors.

PET means position emission tomography scan. In this test a small amount of glucose id injected into the body so that when scanned, cancer cells will appear brighter.

CT scan is used to examine the bowel. The scan shows a three-dimensional picture of several organs at the same time.
