Immunotherapy
Immunotherapy is also known as biological therapy. This treatment method usually involves using drugs to strengthen your child’s immune system to fight disease.
Stem Cell Therapy
Stem cell therapy is also known as bone marrow transplant. Your doctor may inject replacement stem cells into your child’s bloodstream after administering high doses of radiation therapy or chemotherapy. This treatment method is reserved for high-risk children whose prognosis with other treatment is poor.
