Prayer stretch

The prayer stretch [4] helps you exercise both wrists at once. You should find this exercise easy to do if you follow these steps:

Touch your palms together below your chin, in front of your chest. It should look like you are praying.

  • Hold your palms against each other in this position for a few seconds.
  • Slowly bring your hands down toward your waist until you feel a stretch in your forearms. Do not separate your palms or push them away from your body while doing this.
  • Hold this pose for up to 30 seconds before returning to the starting position.
  • Repeat this exercise about four times.

The prayer stretch can be done multiple times throughout the day.
