How to Stop Watery Diarrhea

Antibiotics
Antibiotics are often prescribed for the treatment of diarrhea induced by bacterial infections. [12] They are not effective against diarrhea caused by other types of non-bacterial infections, such as those caused by viruses. Since antibiotic therapy can sometimes cause diarrhea, you should check with your doctor if you are already on antibiotics to make sure your antibiotics are not the cause.
