These drugs do not necessarily remove the infection causing your diarrhea. In some cases, they worsen the infection or medical condition responsible for it. It is a good idea to check with your doctor before going ahead to use them. Some antidiarrheal medications are bad for children.
Make Changes to Medication
Certain drugs have diarrhea as a side effect. If this is the cause of your diarrhea, your doctor may make changes to your regimen or replace the drugs with alternatives that do not cause this problem. [14] This helps stop or reduce the frequency of watery stools.
