Types of Eczemas

There are different forms of eczema. They include:

  • Atopic dermatitis: This is the most common type of eczema which begins during childhood and fades away as one becomes older. They appear as small bumps which contain fluid. Rashes are often found on the faces of infected babies.
  • Dyshidrotic eczema: This is commonly seen in females. They appear as blisters on the hands and feet.
  • Neurodermatitis: This type causes the development of thick and scaly patches on the skin
  • Contact Dermatitis: This form of eczema is caused by an allergic response to something you touched. The skin appears scaly, irritated and red.
  • Nummular eczema: This kind is seen as coin-shaped spots on the skin.
