Heel Spur

Heel spur is a bony protrusion, which mostly appears at the bottom of the heel. The spur is an anomalous formation, which is not visible externally. The main symptom is a pain in the heel, mostly when placing the foot on the floor to walk, etc. It is often associated with plantar fasciitis. [9]

Gouty Arthritis

Gouty arthritis, popularly known as gout, is an inflammatory rheumatic condition that is characterized by the accumulation of uric acid in the joints. Pain at the base of the first toe (big toe) is very common, very similar to bunions. Gouty arthritis is more common in postmenopausal women (in women) and men in adulthood. [10]
