Orthotics

In simple words, orthotics describes unique shoe or heel inserts that are specially designed for an individual. Doctors occasionally prescribe orthotics [3] to treat leg, back, or foot problems. For the treatment of plantar fasciitis, a licensed doctor may prescribe them to help in the even distribution of pressure to the feet.
Aside from plantar fasciitis, orthotics are used to treat a wide range of other conditions. Examples are diabetes, flat feet, arthritis, bunions, heel spurs, and more. There are scenarios where the doctor may recommend orthotics for individuals with positional concerns with the legs or feet.
