Nausea or Vomiting

Vomiting is an uncontrollable reflex that removes the food contents of the stomach through the mouth. Nausea is a term that describes the feeling of vomiting, which may or may not lead to vomiting.

Nausea and vomiting are common symptoms of all types of gallbladder problems. They often show up after you’ve eaten a big or especially fatty meal. When bile cannot be delivered to the small intestine as normal, the gallbladder problem is a chronic one. Gallstones, which are usually made up of cholesterol, can clog gallbladder ducts and cause nausea and vomiting.
